Thatiana Jéssica Profile
Hello, my name is Thatiana Jéssica, I’m 18 years old and I consider myself as an ordinary person, with two sides: playful girl and a serious woman when necessary. I like going out with friends to see a good movie or just to chat. I’m a person whose life with others is a little complicated, because I don’t like all kind of foods, I don’t care much for my mess and I have a strong personality. I choosed to study Science and Technology because I have always been a very indecisive person and I belive that at the age 18 making a decision that will affect the whole future is a very early. Therefore, motivated by the extra time I would have to choose a course, engineering, I made this choice. Interestingly, I’ve never been good with subjects that involve calculus and physics and I believe this is a challenge in my life, and I want to overcome it. I honestly don’t know yet if the choice I made was the right one. But one thing is for sure: the friendships made along this course was worth every minute of study and preparation for college entrance. In a course like this, at the first glance, as the basis as the course is the competition, I trought that anyone would appreciate the friendship, but now I see that I was wrong and made plenty of friends here.Professionally, I want to achieve the goal that all young people want: finish college and have already a good job that satisfies me in terms of monetary and also of the professional realization, not forgetting, of course, the stability.Well, I think is very difficult to describe myself because it is always easier to judge others, even though we shouldn’t do this. In my life, I owe everything that I am, and everything I will be, to my family and I intend work hard to make them proud of me,either in college or in the future once it is formed.

MERCOSUL

An example of Mercosul performance was the foundations of Banco do Sul, idealized by Hugo Chaves, with the objective of raising money between members countries, and, for competition with similarly institutions, like IMF (International Monetary Fund).
Another example of it’s actuation was the Tratado do Livre Comercio (Free Trade Deal) with Israel, which brings many benefits for the economy of the members countries, since Israel is a great importer.

Why earthquakes occur?
Earth’s surface has a lot of cracks that divide it in pieces, known as tectonic plates. These plates cause earthquakes when they move when affected by changes in the Earth's inner layers, like lava flows. The plates will collide and rub on each other, applying huge forces and causing minor tremors. A stronger quake will be caused when the energy stored with the colision will be released. Earthquakes can be measured by a seismograph, which may be positioned in places with high odds of having tremors and draws peaks that vary with the intensity of the tremor. Stronger earthquakes imply on higher peaks, and these peaks may be measured numerically by Richter’s scale. You cannot predict when an earthquake will happen, but you may know where it will happen. Scientists look for areas with faults. Faults mean that a tremor once occurred there, and another may happen.
